the way through
cycle of chaos
Autistic, ADHD, neurodivergent, highly sensitive and introverted people are often being propelled into heightened overwhelm or crushed into numbing underwhelm. The chaos becomes normal and you feel such a yearning for more calm and serenity. So parched, yet just not knowing how to nourish yourself.
You’ve read the books, asked your friends and scanned the online articles. Spent hours with thoughts circling around your mind so you just can’t think clearly anymore. Yet there are still endless questions with no easy answers. It’s hard to know what to do, where to go and who to turn too.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to find more even ground, moments and experiences. Leaving the fragmentation and desolation behind.

journey with one who knows
Lisa Formosa - BSocSc(Psychology)
How gorgeous you’re here. It means the journey has begun. The path is unfolding. The questions are forming. And you’re expanding into all the infinite possibilities of you.
I know the journey is hard for sensitive people as I am one of them. I now see my innate sensitive nature and body as a gift. I live an abundant life that is aligned to my true self as I am responsive and flexible with myself and those around me.
It has been a divine transformation from exhausting overwhelm to experiencing a life of nourishing joy and stillness.
A place where I truly honour and value my own sacred self.

education
A Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology and Social Statistics) and Post Graduate Certificate in Disability has provided a broad framework of knowledge to understand the complex and diverse kaleidoscope of human development, motivation and experience. As a lifelong learner I am always undertaking various forms of inquiry, professional development and study.
lived experience
Autism, ADHD, neurodivergence, introversion and high sensitivity are all aspects of both my own and families’ lived experience. I have a clear understanding of how each individual has their own unique experience that needs to seen, felt and heard. No two people are the same irregardless of the identity, label or diagnosis, so each need to be attuned and supported in their own unique way.
Journey
My journey was not fast or easy because for a long time as I did not fully understand my challenges. My daily experiences were just my normal, yet it always felt hard. I had no inner language or knowledge to guide me. I was a mystery even to myself and this was fragmenting and disorientating.
It took literally decades to shed the outer pressures and expectations from others of how I thought I was supposed to act and feel.
I only begun to find clarity once I begun to listen to my own soft whispers and soul yearnings.
When I stopped comparing myself to others it meant I had more energy and abundance for the things I chose to focus on. This wonderfully creates a sense of stillness and compassion and joy that I could have never imagined. It means I am no longer at the whim of others as my inner knowledge and self guides me.
This is what we all deserve and what I want others to experience it too. To enjoy and honour all that we are, to live a life that they choose. This why I want to support others.

“
It’s so refreshing to work with Lisa. I’ve seen many therapists and supports over the years, and being a late-diagnosed Autistic woman means that many professional supports are out of touch. Lisa helps me to hold space for myself and my healing; allows me to be myself in session, and I’m feeling more and more empowered to be that real me in the rest of my life.
